It's true. It's real.
Lyn, really enjoyed this. It was lively and fun, just a bit snarky, and nicely reminiscent of both a time gone by and a universal type. I have a picture of the girl stepping casually on a knee with her crimson shoe, waiting for that hot spotlight to shake her stuff. Nice one.
Hi hedgewitch- Thank you so much..I guess a dancer will dance anywhere!!
I love this! Those short lines remind me of a sprightly dance. What an adventurous character.
you truly made my day.elegant piece on dancing.stay upbeat and smiles.A+
First of all i was in a old time theatre watching Swan Lake then transported to a smoky jazz club watching the same dancer dancing on the tables that was very vivid indeed.
Different images came to mind but my favorite was the beat nick poet girl dressed as a Parisian, complete with beret and sunglasses. ..smiles..
A joy to read! This poem dances burlesque and teases with roaring cocktails.
This piece truly made me smile! The only thing that matches the beauty of your dancing is your Poetry! :)
